2023 Winter Co-Op – Costco Relations Specialist, Marketing Operations

General Motors
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with internal partners (Service, Accessories, OnStar, etc) on adjacency promotions
- Engage with brands to align on: vehicle inclusions, accurate images, and names to be displayed in promotions – National Warehouse Promotions and Member Only Promotions
- Work with Costco to secure additional marketing tactics for each campaign
- Review & approve Costco Marketing elements – work with legal to develop program legal and ensure the approved ads and legal are implemented
- Audit execution of marketing tactics
- Arrange warehouse displays with our dealers
- Handle dealer/field inquiries
- Report generation – work on generating program performance reports from various data sources & share with regions, and internal partners
- Collect & analyze program VINs to deliver on Shop Cards
- Conduct post program analysis to identify program performance and provide guidance on ways to optimize the program
- Special Projects as required by the Corporate Marketing and Retail Team
Additional Job Description
Qualifications:
- Pursuit of a Bachelor’s (3rd or 4th year) or Master’s degree in the following areas: Business/Commerce (Marketing major preferred)
- Able to work 40 hours per week in Canada, and for 8-month term (2 consecutive semesters) starting January 2023
- Ability to effectively prioritize to implement flawlessly on time and on budget
- Successful candidates will be required to attest to their vaccination status (or indicating that they do not wish to disclose), and any job offer will be conditional on the candidate providing that attestation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with an agency
- ExData analysis
- Bilingual, with proficiency in French language is beneficial

- Fundamental digital literacy including understanding of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
